Content Pro builds on Brand Pro’s foundation, giving districts new ways to create, publish, and support accessible on-brand content, without adding another vendor to manage.
Apptegy, the K-12 communications platform used by more than 5,250 school districts, today announced Content Pro, a new offering built on the foundation of the popular Brand Pro platform. Brand Pro is best known for giving districts a web and newsletter presence that feels unmistakably their own — from their colors and voice to the story they tell. Content Pro keeps that foundation and puts AI to work on top of it: AI Page Builder turns existing documents into web-ready pages, and Content Creator (coming early 2027) — an AI assistant that can build effective multi-channel content from a single prompt. Together, they make content easier to create and help it actually reach everyone — creating a better experience for the whole community a district serves.
District communicators are already stretched thin — one person often writes the newsletter, updates the website, and answers a dozen other requests before lunch. When something has to go out fast, accessibility is usually the first thing to get skipped, not because staff don't care, but because there's no time to double-check every image, every document, every form. It shows up in small ways that add up: an image with no real description for a parent using a screen reader, a PDF that a screen reader can't read at all, a form that only works with a mouse, etc. And, with new ADA Title II requirements taking effect starting in April 2027, districts are hard-pressed to find solutions to help their teams improve accessibility.
At the center of the Content Pro package is AI Page Builder: districts can take an existing PDF — a handbook, a form, a flyer — and turn it into a real web page without a redesign project, and every new image gets a description written for it automatically, so a screen reader gets something meaningful instead of a blank or a placeholder.
Level Access, a leading provider of digital accessibility solutions, strengthens the experience even further. Its accessibility functionality gives every website visitor a way to adjust their own experience — larger text, higher contrast, reading guides, voice navigation, in more than 50 languages — while catching and applying fixes for common issues automatically in the background.
The full result: content that goes out faster, still looks like the district's own brand, and actually reaches everyone in the community who needs it, not just the people it was easiest to write for.
"Brand Pro was built to give every district a voice that feels like its own," said Bob Butler, CEO of Apptegy. "Content Pro builds on that foundation with AI doing more of the heavy lifting — AI Page Builder turns PDFs into real web pages, and Content Creator will create complete newsletters, family messages, and more so staff aren't starting from scratch every time. That same foundation helps districts create content that is not only on brand, but more accessible to families and the community they serve. A district's brand is most powerful when everyone can experience it. This is about making sure the story a district tells is one every family in that district can actually receive, and one every team can actually keep up with.”
"Most districts end up stitching content and accessibility together on their own — one tool for accessibility, another for their public presence, another for newsletters, each with its own login and its own cost”, said Charlie Lang, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Apptegy. "We built Content Pro to bring those capabilities together into the one platform districts already use, so accessibility isn't one more system to manage on top of everything else."
Content Pro is now available. Districts who want to see it in action can contact their Apptegy team or visit www.apptegy.com/content-pro.
Apptegy also plans to bring a complete AI-powered content system to Content Pro: Content Creator. Unlike general-purpose AI tools, Content Creator is being trained specifically on real K-12 school communications and tested across a wide range of districts, so the newsletters, alerts, and family messages it helps write sound like they came from a school communicator, not a generic chatbot. More details will follow as launch nears in early 2027.
