Spain - 27 June, 2024 - K-ONE hits the market, a video game that combines the entertainment of the gaming world with innovative technology designed to improve students' mental calculation skills. With K-ONE, families have access to a technology that allows for immersive and effective learning while enjoying playing. This release helps transform the approach to education at home and in classrooms.
A new dimension is about to open up for gamers around the world with the launch of K-ONE, an innovative video game that combines action, adventure and learning as a unique experience. It is a new way of conceiving knowledge that will be available for PlayStation 5, Steam, Quest 3 and PS VR2, PlayStation's virtual reality glasses.
K-ONE offers players the opportunity to explore the mysterious K-dimension, a universe where knowledge grows as each new lesson is learned. From mythical times such as ancient Egypt and the Viking Age, through medieval times, players will travel in search of Tellus, the guardian of knowledge, facing the mental calculation challenges of the Infinity Constellation.
Players will experience this journey in the guise of a seeker and will face the inhabitants of Ignorantia, the Vacuums, dark beings who work relentlessly to wipe out the dimension, destroying the dimensions created with the purest knowledge. What is more they will have to face the dreaded Flops, which represent personal mistakes and fears. These not only represent your failures, but also challenge you to turn them into opportunities for growth. With each challenge, players become even more immersed in the K-ONE storyline and learn how to transform these mistakes into skills and advantages.
K-ONE has 10 levels of knowledge, each related to various mental calculation difficulties, and an adaptive level that adjusts to the player's learning pace, allowing for constant evolution in their knowledge. Players can progress through various skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Master, and Legend, ensuring that both novices and veterans find a challenge suited to their level.
In future instalments, players will encounter even more complex beings, such as the Lies and the Fakes, who represent contemporary social challenges and manipulation. These creatures reflect the struggle against your own demons and the influence of others, providing an additional layer of ethical depth to the game.
An educational game for all ages, affordably priced for all audiences, that challenges players to practice mental math and develop kinesthetic skills.
It is already available on the PlayStation Store.
