-- LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Award-winning abstract artist Clara Berta will open the doors to her new studio in downtown Laguna Beach with a public grand opening event on Wednesday, May 20th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 332 Forest Avenue, Suite 16.
The launch follows a series of high-profile milestones that have expanded Berta’s national visibility. Her work was recently featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Ray-Ban Meta starring Kris Jenner. Her documentary, Clara Berta: An Artist's Journey, also earned Best Short Documentary at the Silicon Beach Film Festival.
A Hungarian-American artist trained in Florence, Italy, Berta brings more than two decades of experience to Laguna Beach California. Her work is grounded in psychology, using fluid abstraction as a framework for emotional processing, resilience, and human connection. Her paintings have appeared across major networks including Disney, ABC, and CBS.
The new studio space is designed as both a working environment and a public-facing experience. Defined by high ceilings and a large skylight, the space shifts with natural light throughout the day, enhancing Berta’s large-scale fluid acrylic works and minimalist compositions.
The grand opening event is structured as an immersive, multi-sensory experience. Guests will encounter live violin performances, curated artisan elements including Amuvira Wax Candles, and a working studio environment that allows direct engagement with the artist’s process. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
Developed in collaboration with Jeff and JW Consulting, Suite 16 is intended to function as more than a studio. It is positioned as a creative hub for community engagement and reflection.
