Vesper Company LLC (“Vesper”), a private investment firm that partners with founders and management teams to build enduring businesses, today announced that Ravdeep “Rav” Chanana has joined as a Partner on the investment team. At Vesper, Rav will help to shape the firm’s investment strategy by driving new investment activity while also providing support to the firm’s partner companies.

A seasoned investment and operations professional, Rav most recently served as a Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee at Gemspring Capital where he led investments in business and industrial services sectors and served as a board member for six portfolio companies. During his seven years at Gemspring, he was involved in all aspects of the investment process including origination, due diligence, transaction structuring, portfolio management, and M&A.

Prior to Gemspring, Rav spent nearly a decade at General Electric, working across eight countries and four multi-billion dollar industrial and financial services business units. While at GE, he partnered directly with the company’s leadership team while serving as CFO of GE Additive and CFO of GE Aerospace’s engineering organization.
