"His addition strengthens our Board as we advance multiple clinical-stage programs that will be featured at peer-reviewed meetings this November."
"I believe the Company's approach of advancing drugs with established human safety data into biomarker-defined patient populations is a capital-efficient model for drug development," said Mr. Faber. "I look forward to working with the Board and management team."
Scientific Conference Presentation Highlights
EO3001 and EO4426 reflect the Edison Company's model: finding therapies with established human safety data and evidence of activity from prior third-party clinical trials, understanding through precision biology which patients are most likely to benefit, and advancing them in focused, biomarker-driven clinical studies. EO1001 is a new chemical entity that recently completed enrollment in its Phase 1-2a study.
EO3001 (elesclomol) is the Company's lead program with clinical experience involving more than 1,000 patients in prior third-party clinical trials. The Company's poster will present the scientific rationale and design of a planned Phase I/II study in solid tumors, with a focus on ARID1A-mutant cancers, which represent approximately 10% of solid tumors.
EO4426 (tezacitabine) is an oral, brain-penetrant agent studied in more than 400 patients in prior third-party clinical trials. The poster will present data supporting biomarker-directed development in central nervous system and other cancers.
EO1001 is an oral, brain-penetrant pan-ErbB inhibitor. Two SNO posters will focus on central nervous system cancers will report updated clinical results in advanced solid tumors, including recurrent glioblastoma patients whose tumors carry EGFR extracellular domain (ECD) alterations as well as laboratory findings showing EO1001 activity in patient-derived glioblastoma models with ECD alterations. At ENA, a separate poster will report safety, pharmacokinetics and preliminary clinical activity across diverse ErbB-driven tumors, including those harboring EGFR ECD alterations.
