Charlie Liebert Unveils New Book: “Atheism is an Oxymoron” – A Thought-Provoking Exploration of Faith and Science

Charlie Liebert's "Atheism is an Oxymoron" explores faith vs. atheism, arguing that true atheism claims omniscience. Available now.

Renowned author and educator Charlie Liebert is excited to announce the release of his latest book, "Atheism is an Oxymoron: To say, 'There is NO God!' is to Claim Omniscience." This compelling work delves into the intricate relationship between atheism and theism, arguing that the absolute denial of God's existence requires an omniscient perspective. The book is available now on Amazon.

In "Atheism is an Oxymoron," Liebert blends his extensive scientific background with his deep Christian faith to present a unique perspective on one of humanity's most profound questions. The book challenges readers to reconsider their beliefs about the existence of God and the nature of atheism, asserting that true atheism requires an all-knowing stance, which is inherently contradictory.

Charlie Liebert's journey to faith was marked by significant intellectual challenges. Born and raised in Amityville, Long Island, Liebert graduated from the State University of New York at Farmingdale with an AAS degree in Chemical Technology. He later earned a BS in Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA in Marketing from Iona College. His professional career included positions at Lever Brothers Company and Geigy Chemical Corporation (later CIBA-Geigy), where he advanced from laboratory technician to lab manager and eventually moved into marketing.

In 1973, Liebert relocated with his family to Greensboro, NC, where he continued to excel in his career. It was here, in 1977, that he became a Christian, prompting a profound intellectual and spiritual transformation. Initially taught to accept evolution as fact, Liebert struggled to reconcile this with the biblical account of creation. Through diligent study of "recent creationist" literature, he became a Young Earth Creationist, a journey that deeply influences his writing today.

Liebert's contributions to education and public discourse are extensive. He has published numerous articles and editorials, delivered over 400 presentations, and conducted workshops and seminars on creationism and other topics. He is also known for his television series "Creation Foundation Explanation," produced from 1995 to 2005.

Charlie's commitment to education extends to his family. His wife Terry worked for Weight Watchers for 25 years, and their two children, both graduates of Wesleyan Education Center in High Point, NC, have pursued successful careers in education and beyond. The couple has five grandchildren, and they now reside in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

"Atheism is an Oxymoron" is not just a book; it is a call to readers to explore the depths of their beliefs and the evidence that supports them. Liebert's work is particularly relevant for those interested in the intersections of science, faith, and philosophy, and it aims to inspire deeper thought and discussion about the nature of existence and the evidence for God's presence in the world.
