Karlie Saucier has announced the forthcoming release of her psychological thriller Blood Runs Colder, a novel that examines the collapse of trust following a workplace homicide and the exposure of a concealed family history driven by resentment, inheritance disputes, and long-held secrets.

The story centers on Kelly Greggor, a marketing professional whose ordinary workday ends when she witnesses a violent destruction in the lobby of her office building. Her cooperation with law enforcement places her at the center of a growing investigation led by Detective Connor Bea, drawing her into a complex network of deception that extends far beyond the initial crime scene.

As the investigation progresses, Kelly begins to uncover troubling truths about the people closest to her. Relationships she believed were built on loyalty reveal layers of manipulation, surveillance, and hidden motives, while the case itself traces back to unresolved family conflicts tied to her father’s past and the consequences of his concealed actions.
