In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Elvis Presley’s Graceland will debut The American Spirit of Elvis Presley, a limited-time display that explores Elvis’ love of country and storied history of patriotism.

The American Spirit of Elvis Presley debuts at Graceland Memorial Day weekend.
The display will be part of all Graceland Mansion tours beginning Memorial Day Weekend and running through Fourth of July Weekend.
Featured artifacts in the display include:
- the giant American flag used during Elvis’ 1974 concerts at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis
- the suit Elvis wore during his meeting with Richard Nixon in December 1970
- an official statement from President Jimmy Carter following Elvis’ passing in 1977
- the famous gold lame jacket Elvis wore during his Pearl Harbor benefit concert
- a commemorative plaque honoring Elvis’ efforts to raise funds for the USS Arizona Memorial
Additionally, offered only on Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-25), Private Presley Tours return in 2026. These tours, focused on Elvis’ military service, take visitors on an in-depth journey through Elvis’ Army experience with live tour guides throughout Graceland mansion, sharing what life was like in Elvis’ absence and the excitement upon his return to Memphis as an honored veteran.
