Tricia Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Rivard founded Matrix Providers in 2010 with a mission to elevate healthcare staffing standards for military service members and their families. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted federal healthcare staffing partner, supporting military treatment facilities and government healthcare agencies across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
A retired U.S. Army Colonel and optometrist with 28 years of military service, Rivard built the company on a foundation of performance, quality, innovation, and service. Matrix Providers has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing staffing firms in the United States and was among the first government medical staffing providers to introduce commercial workforce management practices, including Managed Service Provider (MSP) models, into the federal healthcare market.
“As Matrix Providers enters its next chapter of growth, I’m incredibly proud of what our team has built,” said Rivard. “Our mission to serve those who serve our country has always been central to our work. I look forward to supporting the company’s long-term strategy as Chairman while Tricia leads Matrix into its next phase.”
Brown brings more than 30 years of recruiting and staffing experience, including over 20 years in healthcare workforce solutions. Prior to joining Matrix Providers, she held executive leadership roles at large global and publicly traded staffing organizations including AMN Healthcare, Cross Country Healthcare, and Spherion where she led enterprise client services organizations and major workforce initiatives, including FEMA’s IDIQ program supporting the national COVID-19 response.
“I feel truly honored and grateful to carry forward the remarkable legacy and strong foundation that Bill has built,” Brown said.
As part of the transition, Matrix Providers will establish an advisory board consisting of Dr. Rivard as Chairman, Blair Thueson, retired Senior Vice President of Matrix Providers, and Bob Livonius, a veteran staffing industry executive and board advisor. The advisory board will help guide long-term strategy and continued growth in the federal healthcare services market.
