State, county and local leaders join Beale Infrastructure officials to break ground on Beale’s new data center campus in Tulsa County.

"Beale's announcement of a $1 billion investment in Tulsa County and the creation of 100 high-paying jobs demonstrates Oklahoma's leadership in technologies that are shaping the modern economy and ensuring that economic opportunity is available to communities and businesses across the Tulsa region," said Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell.

Beale develops data centers throughout North America in partnership with the world’s leading technology companies, working closely with the communities in which it invests to responsibly develop facilities that reflect local priorities and support expanding digital requirements. Beale prioritizes sustainability in its developments, working alongside power and water utilities on additive generation and infrastructure strategies. Project Clydesdale has committed to significant public infrastructure upgrades including upgrades to Washington County Rural Water District #3 water lines and system upgrades that will enhance Public Service Company of Oklahoma’s (“PSO’s”) transmission and distribution system reliability across the region. It is expected to have a significant economic impact on the region through a $1 billion capital investment and the creation of up to 100 permanent high-paying technical roles, in addition to thousands of local construction jobs during the five-year build-out of the initial phase.

“We are extremely fortunate that this project has selected Tulsa County as its location,” said Dr. Margaret Coates, Superintendent of Owasso Public Schools. “When a large-scale development like this comes to our community, it’s more than just concrete and servers—it’s a long-term investment in our children’s future. The tax revenue generated helps us fund better classrooms, hire more teachers and expand access to technology. Beyond that, our students stand to benefit through potential partnerships that open doors to emerging technologies—whether through internships, mentorships or other workforce development initiatives that prepare them for the careers of tomorrow.”

“This project is a great example of how critical digital infrastructure can drive meaningful public-private partnerships that benefit our entire community,” said Stan Sallee, Tulsa County Commissioner for District 1. “Through Beale’s investment, they are not only supporting innovation but also creating new funding opportunities for our public schools and helping to improve transportation infrastructure. This project will strengthen local economies and provide quality construction jobs for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, ironworkers and many others. Creating good jobs for Oklahoma families makes them the right partner for Tulsa County. Projects like this continue to elevate our region’s reputation as a hub for technology and innovation.”

“We feel privileged to be part of the state of Oklahoma and are proud to call the Tulsa community home. We take our role in advancing prosperity and long-term sustainability very seriously. Economic, workforce and community development are major strengths of this region and we are excited to play a role in supporting the state, regional and local organizations who are driving positive change,” said Michael Nudelman, Chief Development Officer at Beale. “We want to first and foremost be good community partners, engaging in and supporting economic development to improve the quality of life and opportunities in the regions where we invest. We are grateful to state and local leaders for their support and close collaboration, as well as members of the community for their ongoing engagement throughout this process.”
