Longhouse Press Launches with a Mission to Help People Create Their Big Break
"The biggest opportunity of the next decade won't come from finding a safer job. It will come from creating value in ways that never existed before." — Jai Long
Entrepreneur and educator Jai Long launches independent publishing house alongside his debut book, Make Your Break, exploring why this is the greatest time in history to build something of your own.

NEW YORK, NY - Entrepreneur, educator and author Jai Long has officially launched Longhouse Press, a U.S.-based independent publishing house created to publish practical books that help people navigate one of the biggest shifts in modern history.

Its first release, Make Your Break, argues that while artificial intelligence is disrupting industries, replacing jobs and changing the way we work, it is also creating extraordinary opportunities for people willing to think creatively, solve problems and build something of their own.

Rather than seeing AI as a threat, the book presents it as a catalyst for a new generation of entrepreneurs, creators and independent thinkers.

"Every generation gets a defining moment," says Long. "This is ours. AI will replace some jobs, but it will also create millions of opportunities. The people who thrive won't be the ones waiting for certainty—they'll be the ones willing to create it."

Over the past two decades, Long has built businesses across hospitality, photography, education, live events, property and digital media. He has photographed more than 500 weddings, founded the Wedding Photography Summit, mentored thousands of creative entrepreneurs through the Six-Figure Business Map and now turns his attention to helping more people create meaningful work in a rapidly changing world.

Longhouse Press was born from a simple belief:

The future belongs to people who create.

Instead of pursuing a traditional publishing deal, Long chose to build his own publishing company, giving him complete creative control while establishing a platform dedicated to publishing practical, timeless books for entrepreneurs and creators.

At a time when millions of people are questioning traditional career paths, Make Your Break offers a different perspective. It encourages readers to stop waiting for the perfect opportunity and start creating one—by developing skills, embracing creativity and building businesses around the problems they are uniquely positioned to solve.

The book combines personal stories, business lessons and practical frameworks drawn from Long's entrepreneurial journey, offering readers a roadmap for navigating uncertainty and creating their own breakthrough.

Longhouse Press plans to expand its catalogue in the coming years, publishing books that challenge conventional thinking and prepare readers for the future of work, business and creativity.
