Box Brokers Group has made its 2026 Catalog, Volume 11, available to jewelers seeking packaging, displays, and related products. The catalog reflects the company’s evolution since its formation in Hong Kong in June 1995, when operations began by brokering container shipments of packaging to manufacturers, chain stores, and distributors throughout North America. Success with that model enabled the opening of a distribution facility in Los Angeles in February 1998 to serve independent jewelers. The facility later consolidated at 535 N Puente Street in Brea, California, supporting ongoing supply of stock and custom items.

In earlier years, the primary objective was to become a source of quality packaging at affordable prices for independent jewelers. At that stage, display offerings remained limited to white and beige Vienna materials in traditional styles. As packaging goals advanced, the focus shifted toward quality jewelry displays with immediate availability. In 2020, the company began reinventing its jewelry display offerings with a new line of Smart displays. Those displays underwent testing in 2021, achieved wide success, and expanded in 2022 to additional products including packaging. The 2026 catalog presents the current range of those systems alongside established packaging, bags, pouches, folders, File A Gem items, showcases, and store lighting.

SmartPRO Packaging appears as a core system within the catalog. It employs a box-shell and insert strategy built on the principle that a shell becomes a specific jewelry box once the appropriate pad is inserted. Sales associates select a small, medium, or large shell and add one of 13 different pad inserts to package ear studs, rings, hoops, charms, pendants, beads, large hoops, bangles, bracelets, watches, or larger pendants and necklaces. The approach consolidates storage by reducing the number of separate box sizes required in back-room areas and provides an organizational system of bins and labels for the wrapping station. Integrated QR codes on the system allow smartphone scanning to reorder individual replacement pads when inventory runs low.

The packaging system follows a Good-Better-Best structure. Good Shells use metallic paper with magnetic closures. Better Shells combine metallic paper exteriors with traditional clamshell closures. Best Shells consist of Linea Leatherette with clamshell closures. This structure permits lower-priced items to be placed in corresponding lower-cost shells while maintaining consistent exterior presentation across collections. The catalog also lists in-stock packaging collections with low minimum order quantities and custom packaging options that accommodate brand-specific colors, materials, and finishes.

Box Brokers Group holds exclusive distribution rights for SmartPRO Showcases and SmartPRO Lighting in North America. In-stock showcase models feature a sleek modern aesthetic and ship ready for use. Construction includes Belgian glass, European standard hardware and locks, jewelry-specific integrated lighting, and interchangeable front and side panels. Custom showcases can be configured in various materials, finishes, and layouts to match individual store aesthetics and merchandising requirements while incorporating the same glass, hardware, locks, and lighting elements. Related store lighting solutions pair with the showcases to illuminate retail environments.

SmartPRO Displays in the catalog are available in colors including Celestial Blue, Luna, Paladium, Paradiso, and Pecan. Specific items include program trays for rings and pendants, single and quad trays, watch displays, folding counter pads with ring slots, gem jars, and risers. These displays support in-store organization and customer presentation of jewelry. Additional catalog sections cover bags, totes, and pouches in multiple sizes and styles, along with File A Gem pocket wallets and binders designed for stone storage and presentation.

Daniel Koffman, VP of Sales, stated that the shell-and-insert design of SmartPRO Packaging allows jewelers to maintain fewer base components while still packaging a full range of jewelry types. Koffman added that the combination of in-stock showcases with integrated lighting and interchangeable panels provides retailers with options for both immediate deployment and longer-term store configurations.

The catalog release continues the company’s progression from its 1995 brokerage origins through the 1998 establishment of domestic distribution and the subsequent development of SmartPRO lines. Current offerings address both packaging efficiency and display presentation for independent jewelers as well as manufacturers, chain stores, and distributors. The 2026 volume updates product selections and system details that have been refined since the initial Smart display testing in 2021 and the packaging expansion that followed.

Box Brokers Group maintains its distribution operations from the Brea, California facility and continues to supply packaging and display products developed through its SmartPRO initiatives. The 2026 Catalog, Volume 11, documents the available range of shells, inserts, displays, showcases, and supporting items that result from those efforts.
