The Kansas City Auto Show is back — and it’s rolling in with a fresh new experience. For 2026, the show moves to a new home at the Overland Park Convention Center and shifts to new dates, June 4–7, delivering a reimagined experience built around convenience, discovery, and the thrill of getting behind the wheel.

This year’s show brings together 25-plus automotive brands under one roof at one of the region’s most accessible venues, complete with free parking for all attendees. One of the show’s most popular features also returns with an expanded lineup of test drives from Dodge, Ford, Jeep, Polestar, and Toyota, giving attendees the chance to experience a wide range of gas, hybrid, and electric vehicles firsthand.

“The Kansas City Auto Show has always given people the opportunity to explore the latest vehicles in a relaxed, no-pressure setting,” said Larry Carl, CEO of the Automobile Dealers Association of Kansas City. “Moving to the Overland Park Convention Center gives us a modern, welcoming venue that aligns with what today’s car shoppers want — easy access, a strong selection of brands, the freedom to explore at their own pace, and free parking.”

Whether visitors are in the market for something new or simply want to see what’s out there, the Kansas City Auto Show delivers a rare, no-pressure environment to sit in, compare, and get a feel for today’s vehicles. Product specialists will be on hand to answer questions and walk attendees through the latest tech features.

"With gas prices on the rise, buyers are paying close attention to fuel efficiency — and today's vehicles deliver more options than ever," said Brian Moody, independent automotive expert and analyst.
