Mr. Gilbert brings extensive experience in housing and real estate, having held positions across investment management and sell-side research firms.

Mr. Gilbert joins BTIG from MetLife Investment Management (MIM) Private Capital, where he served as Senior Director and was responsible for sourcing, originating, and managing single family rental debt and equity investments. Prior to MIM, Mr. Gilbert was a Director and Research Analyst at BTIG, providing coverage across several industries within housing and real estate. Earlier in his career, he held equity research roles at Morgan Stanley and Compass Point Research & Trading.
