The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into PH Tech with respect to their recent data breach. On July 31, 2023, PH Tech notified individuals that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. The breach was discovered on June 16, 2023. According to PH Tech, they determined that information moved through file transfer tool, MOVEit Transfer may have been subject to unauthorized access on May 30, 2023. PH Tech determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes: name, email address, date of birth, Social Security number, demographic information (address), member and plan ID number, authorization information, Diagnosis and procedure codes, and Claim/Billing information.
