The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into BHI Energy with respect to their recent data breach. On October 18, 2023, BHI Energy notified 91,269 individuals that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. According to BHI Energy, they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access between May 30, 2023 through July 7, 2023. BHI Energy determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes First, middle, and last names, date of birth, social security and potentially health information.
