Prime Asset Recovery Partners with Zoo Atlanta to Promote E-Waste Recycling and Wildlife Conservation

Join the Effort to Reduce E-Waste and Protect Endangered Wildlife at Zoo Atlanta's Special Recycling Event on August 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

ATLANTA, GA / ACCESSWIRE / August 22, 2024 / On August 23, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Prime Asset Recovery will partner with Zoo Atlanta to host a special E-Waste Recycling Event. This one-day event offers an excellent opportunity for Atlanta residents to responsibly dispose of their e-waste, including larger electronic items such as monitors, desktop PCs, and printers, while supporting a noble cause.

Participants in the recycling event will receive incentives from Zoo Atlanta, including $5 off same-day Zoo admission or, for Zoo Atlanta Members, a free ticket for the Norfolk Southern Zoo Train or Endangered Species Carousel. These incentives are part of Zoo Atlanta's broader initiative to encourage the community to engage in eco-friendly practices.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Zoo Atlanta in this initiative that not only helps our community reduce e-waste but also directly supports wildlife conservation," said Adam Levitt, Chief Operating Officer at Prime Asset Recovery. "Through responsible recycling, we can all play a part in preserving the habitats of endangered species, like gorillas, and making a positive impact on our environment."

Electronics Recycling List

Prime Asset Recovery will accept a wide range of electronic items, including:

  • Small Electronics: Mobile devices, tablets, smartwatches, digital cameras, laptops, e-readers, MP3 players, and more.

  • Computing and Office Equipment: Desktop computers, monitors, printers, workstations, servers, cables, and power supplies.

  • Home and Personal Electronics: Home automation devices, radios, video game consoles, routers, and stereo systems.

  • Miscellaneous: Rechargeable batteries, electric motors, solar panels, projectors, and security equipment.

Please note that a fee of $25 per unit will be charged for recycling TVs. For any items not listed, or if you have questions about what can be recycled, please contact Prime Asset Recovery at Info@primeassetrecovery.com or 404-263-2935.

All small electronics recycled during the campaign will be processed through the Gorillas on the Line … Answer the Call campaign, with the support of Zoo Atlanta's partners. Proceeds from the recycled items will benefit the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Gorilla SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) Program, which funds critical conservation efforts for Grauer's gorillas and Cross River gorillas in Africa.

Prime Asset Recovery is committed to environmentally responsible recycling and is proud to be part of this meaningful effort. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to de-clutter their homes of unused electronics and contribute to a global cause that protects both our planet and its wildlife.
