Andina Copper Appoints Stephen Mcintosh as Advisor

October 20, 2025 TheNewswire - Vancouver, British Columbia. Andina Copper Corporation (Andina) (the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen McIntosh as a Strategic Advisor.

Stephen McIntosh has over 38 years of experience in the resources sector of which 33 years was with the Rio Tinto Group culminating in the role of Group Executive for Growth and Innovation. In this role Stephen was accountable for most of Rio Tinto’s technical functions globally. Prior this he was Rio Tinto’s global head of exploration from 2011 to 2016. 

 

Stephen’s extensive experience covers a wide range of commodities in over 40 countries, including multiple large-scale copper and gold exploration and development projects, and mining operations. He has been actively involved in the management, exploration, discovery and/or evaluation of many of Rio Tinto Group’s exploration discoveries.

 

Stephen is the chairman of Datarock, a computer vision AI/ML start-up focused on the resources sector and an advisor to Chalice Mining (CHN:ASX) and EMR Capital, a specialist resources private equity investment firm.  He is also a director at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and advises several other resources and technology companies.

 

Stephen is a geophysicist by training and holds a Master of Science (Hons) from the University of Auckland.
