Ross Stores reported revenues of $6.64 billion, up 12.2% year on year. This print exceeded analysts’ expectations by 3.2%. Overall, it was a strong quarter for the company with an impressive beat of analysts’ gross margin and revenue estimates.

Best Q4: Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE)
Often facilitating a treasure hunt shopping experience, Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE) is an American discount retailer that sells a variety of products from mobile phone cases to candy to sports equipment for largely $5 or less.
Five Below reported revenues of $1.73 billion, up 24.3% year on year, outperforming analysts’ expectations by 1.1%. The business had a very strong quarter with EPS and revenue guidance for next quarter exceeding analysts’ expectations.

Five Below pulled off the fastest revenue growth among its peers. The market seems happy with the results as the stock is up 5.7% since reporting. It currently trades at $224.49.

Ollie's (NASDAQ: OLLI)
Often located in suburban or semi-rural shopping centers, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet (NASDAQ: OLLI) is a discount retailer that acquires excess inventory then sells at meaningful discounts.
Ollie's reported revenues of $779.3 million, up 16.8% year on year, falling short of analysts’ expectations by 0.5%. It was a mixed quarter as it posted a narrow beat of analysts’ gross margin estimates but full-year EPS guidance missing analysts’ expectations.
Ollie's delivered the highest full-year guidance raise but had the weakest performance against analyst estimates in the group. As expected, the stock is down 10% since the results and currently trades at $93.03.

Initially based on a strategy of buying excess inventory from manufacturers or other retailers, TJX (NYSE: TJX) is an off-price retailer that sells brand-name apparel and other goods at prices much lower than department stores.
TJX reported revenues of $17.74 billion, up 8.5% year on year. This print surpassed analysts’ expectations by 2.3%. Aside from that, it was a mixed quarter as it also produced a solid beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates but EPS guidance for next quarter missing analysts’ expectations.
TJX had the slowest revenue growth among its peers. The stock is up 4.6% since reporting and currently trades at $164.90.

Founded in 1972 as a discount coat and outerwear retailer, Burlington Stores (NYSE: BURL) is now an off-price retailer that has broadened into general apparel, footwear, and home goods.
Burlington reported revenues of $3.65 billion, up 11.3% year on year. This result beat analysts’ expectations by 1.6%. Zooming out, it was a mixed quarter as it also logged a solid beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates but EPS guidance for next quarter missing analysts’ expectations significantly.
