MCKINNEY, TX – Resident Evil Store, the premier destination for fans of Capcom’s legendary survival horror franchise, has announced an expanded apparel collection timed to the upcoming theatrical release of the franchise’s live-action reboot. From Columbia Pictures and Constantin Film, in association with TriStar Pictures, the new “Resident Evil” film is set to hit theaters on September 18, 2026.
Directed by Zach Cregger, known for “Weapons” and “Barbarian,” the reboot tells an all-new story following Bryan, a medical courier, played by Austin Abrams, who finds himself in a non-stop race for survival as a horrifying outbreak collapses around him in a single chaotic night. The project marks the franchise’s second attempt at rebooting its live-action film series following 2021’s “Welcome to Raccoon City,” and has generated significant buzz among horror fans following Cregger’s recent string of critically acclaimed films.
In anticipation of the film’s release, Resident Evil Store has refreshed its product catalog to give fans new ways to celebrate both the franchise’s storied video game history and its renewed cinematic future. Among the highlights is the brand’s collection of Resident Evil Hoodies, which feature graphics inspired by iconic franchise imagery, including the Umbrella Corporation logo, classic enemy designs, and nods to fan-favorite entries in the long-running game series.
The store has also expanded its lineup of Resident Evil T Shirts, offering a range of designs that span the franchise’s nearly three-decade history, from throwback graphics referencing the original 1996 game to newer artwork tied to recent releases.
“Resident Evil has one of the most dedicated fan bases in gaming, and with a director like Zach Cregger taking on the reboot, excitement around the franchise has reached a new peak,” said Christopher Harris, contact representative for Resident Evil Store. “We wanted our latest collection to honor both longtime fans and newcomers who are just discovering the series through the upcoming film.”
The franchise’s influence on the survival horror genre has remained significant since its 1996 debut, inspiring countless other titles while continuing to evolve through major game releases and adaptations across film and television.
As anticipation builds toward the film’s September release, Resident Evil Store plans to continue rolling out new designs throughout the year, with additional film-inspired merchandise expected as more details about the reboot are revealed.
The full collection is available now through the official Resident Evil Store website.
