Mountain Radiance, a physician-led medical spa, has been recognized in four categories in the 2026 Best of Asheville awards, receiving a Gold award in the Medical Spa category and Silver awards in the Day Spa, Doctor, and Women’s Health categories. The practice extends its streak of being named Asheville’s #1 Best Medical Spa in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Mountain Radiance was also honored in The Guide to North Carolina‘s 2026 Best of North Carolina as one of the Best Medical Spas in the state.
The Best of Asheville awards are an annual recognition program covering a range of local business categories, including health, beauty, and wellness services. Mountain Radiance, located at 7 Yorkshire St., Suite 101, is co-owned by physician Dr. Mark Chandler and Practice Director Lauren Chandler and has operated in Asheville for several years.
"Being recognized in four categories tells us something about how patients experience care across the board, not just in one service area," said Lauren Chandler, Practice Director at Mountain Radiance. The Medical Spa and Day Spa categories reflect the range of services Mountain Radiance offers, from injectables, dermal fillers, and laser treatments to facials and other aesthetician-led care. The Doctor and Women's Health recognitions point to the clinical side of the practice, where Dr. Chandler, a medical director board-certified in emergency and aesthetic medicine, is onsite for treatments and involved directly in patient care alongside a nurse injector, physician assistant, estheticians and laser technician.
"A lot of what we do sits at the intersection of medicine and aesthetics, so it means something when both sides get recognized separately," said Dr. Mark Chandler, Medical Director at Mountain Radiance. "It tells us patients see the clinical judgment behind the cosmetic result, not just the result itself."
