The center recently played host to the Hot Tub & Swim Spa Blowout Expo, a three-day sales event that took place in the venue's Barcelona Ballroom. The event saw thousands of people attend the center over the course of a few days, highlighting Meridian's ability to comfortably host large events.
With a sizable parking lot allocation, a convenient location just one block from the I-40, and a suite of high-end, elegant ballrooms, Meridian Convention Center attracts clients seeking a blend of style and practicality.

The Hot Tub Expo was organized by Signature Productions, with the event requiring more than 15 tubs to be brought into the ballroom. This was made easier with the Barcelona's large load-in entrance, allowing forklift trucks to enter the space and carry the pieces into position. Meridian granted the Signature team access to the venue two days before the event to facilitate the advanced setup that was required.
The Barcelona Ballroom provides 12,000 square feet of floor space alongside a dedicated restroom and dressing room. A prep kitchen offers a space for caterers to set up and serve refreshments, while a portable staging area allows for a versatile focal point for all manner of events. Wood flooring in the ballroom gives a robust, stylish, and comfortable surface, while chandeliers adorn the ceiling, lending the room a timeless and elegant aesthetic.
Signature Productions rented furniture and linens from the Meridian collection, with a choice of pieces including Gold Chiavari chairs and both long and round tables.
With a range of spaces on offer, Meridian ensures that there is a suitable solution for all tastes and budgets. Tours can be booked by appointment so clients can get a feel for the venue.
