Minneapolis, Minnesota – On Wednesday August 26th, Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers marked the first community distribution event of The Full Plates Project, an ongoing initiative focused on addressing food insecurity across the Midwest. At the North Community YMCA in Minneapolis, Nicolet Law staff worked in partnership with VEAP and YMCA staff to provide more than 100 meal kits to children and families. Nicolet Law also made a charitable contribution to support the YMCA’s ongoing work in the community.
“Nicolet Law is often called upon during some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life. But long before someone needs an attorney, they need a strong community,” said Russell Nicolet, founder of Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers. “Everyone deserves access to the resources and support that help families thrive. The Full Plates Project reflects our belief that investing in those everyday needs, including reliable access to food, is a meaningful way we can give back.”
The Full Plates Project reflects Nicolet Law’s motto to “Be Kind. Do Good” and its commitment to serving the communities where its clients, employees, and neighbors live. The firm selected VEAP and the North Community YMCA because of their deep roots in the community and their longstanding commitment to helping families access essential resources.
By partnering with organizations that already know the needs of their neighborhoods, The Full Plates Project is designed to create meaningful local impact while supporting the people and programs working on the front lines of food insecurity.
