BIG INDIAN, N.Y. - Music Masters Collective has shared details for the upcoming Marty Music Mountain Retreat, a four-day interactive musical journey hosted by YouTube guitar educator Marty Schwartz. The event returns to the Full Moon Resort in the Hudson Valley region from August 25–28, 2026.
Ticket Access and Registration
Registration and ticketing will be managed exclusively through TIXR. Public on-sale officially begins Thursday, April 2, at 11 a.m. ET. Due to the limited capacity of the venue and the global reach of the Marty Music platform, those interested in attending are encouraged to visit the official registration page at the launch time: https://www.tixr.com/groups/musicmasterscollective
Interactive Learning Beyond the Screen
Presented by Music Masters Collective, the retreat moves Schwartz’s digital curriculum—which reaches nearly 5 million subscribers—to a physical campus setting. While the program is anchored in guitar instruction, it emphasizes the "full band" dynamic, songcraft, and live performance. The curriculum is designed to help players of all levels transition from solo practice to ensemble playing.
Instructional Faculty and Special Guests
The retreat will be led by Marty Schwartz alongside an all-star cast of his friends and favorite teachers. While the full 2026 lineup of guest instructors is currently being finalized for a follow-up reveal, participants can expect a diverse array of masterclasses covering blues, rock, and acoustic techniques. Programming consists of daytime workshops, gear sessions, and deep dives into musical theory.
Ensemble Performance and Nightly Jams
A core feature of the retreat is the nightly open mic jam. Attendees have the unique opportunity to perform on stage backed by the Moga Family Band, a professional house ensemble featuring some of Nashville's premier musicians. This provides a supportive, real-world environment for players to apply workshop concepts live on stage.
All-Inclusive Lodge Packages
Located 2.5 hours from New York City, Full Moon Resort provides various all-inclusive lodging options. Accommodations range from primitive camping and glamping to guest rooms, cottages, and renovated luxury cottages. All ticket packages include freshly prepared daily menus and access to all scheduled programming.
