Sydney, Australia - March 23, 2026 - Susannah Kindred, a registered clinical psychologist with over 15 years' experience, has launched an 8-week small group high performance mindset program that's breaking the mould on who "high performance" coaching is for.
The program -- rooted in evidence-based psychological skills and the science of human behaviour, performance and flourishing -- has already delivered striking results. Its inaugural cohort spanned a corporate executive, a mid-level leader, a burnt-out working parent, a football player, and an actor. All reported gaining lifelong skills, with participants describing feeling "more present, more focused, and more calm and confident."
"For too long, high performance mental skills have been seen as something reserved for elite athletes or C-suite executives," said Kindred. "But the truth is, the person juggling a leadership role and parenthood, the actor walking into an audition, the mid-career professional who knows they're capable of more -- they all face the same inner game. This program meets them where they are."

A clinical psychologist in the coach's chair
Unlike many in the mindset coaching space, Kindred brings formal clinical training to the table -- holding a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours and a Master of Psychology (Clinical). Her proprietary MAP to Thrive framework draws on acceptance and commitment coaching, flow psychology, and compassion-based approaches to help high achievers hold their high standards and pursue bold goals without sacrificing their wellbeing or burning out in the process.
It's an approach she describes as "full catastrophe living" -- being your best, on the go, in the face of pressure and uncertainty, to truly strive well.
Confidence at the core
A recurring theme across Kindred's work is confidence -- and the ways high achievers who aim high and care deeply can get tripped up by self-doubt. In 2022, Kindred collaborated on a confidence masterclass with renowned mindset mentor and bestselling author Ben Crowe, whose client list includes some of Australia's most celebrated athletes. It's a topic, she says, that is as relevant now as ever.
"Confidence and self-belief aren't personality traits you either have or you don't," said Kindred. "They're skills. And like any skill, they can be trained."
What's next
Following the success of the inaugural cohort, Kindred is now accepting waitlist registrations for the next intake of the program. Expressions of interest can be made at kindredthriving.com.
