Expanded practice encompasses growth across data, forensics, and compliance-driven technology work

Liam Ferguson and Courtney Fletcher have been named presidents of its newly renamed Data & Technology Advisory practice. In addition, Brian Kim has been promoted to Managing Director.

The practice name change reflects the firm’s expanded scope in response to growing client demand across data analytics, cybersecurity, eDiscovery, digital forensics, information governance, financial technology crime consulting, and artificial intelligence governance. The promotions recognize Ferguson’s, Fletcher’s, and Kim’s leadership in helping build the practice’s capabilities and client offerings across the rapidly evolving data and technology landscape.

Ferguson has more than 30 years of experience in eDiscovery, structured data, and artificial intelligence, with expertise in the acquisition, management, and analysis of transactional, financial, and operational data. His work has included structured data analytics and cyber forensic investigations, the design and assessment of anti-money laundering and sanctions transaction monitoring programs, FCPA compliance and third-party due diligence systems, and internal controls and fraud deterrence. Ferguson’s litigation experience includes supporting and giving expert witness testimony, preparing attorney work product and providing trial exhibit compilations, and developing data and other document retrieval systems.

Fletcher has more than 25 years of experience developing and implementing case and matter strategies that leverage technology to assist corporate and legal clients with high stake matters. His work spans database collections and analysis, artificial intelligence-assisted review, cybersecurity program and breach review, source code analysis, technical and compliance support for government-appointed monitors, intellectual property theft investigations, and independent regulatory and compliance assessments.

Kim has more than 20 years of experience in data analytics and advises clients on large-scale data discovery, remediation, forensic, and eDiscovery matters. He has led structured data analytics, forensics, information governance, and eDiscovery consulting engagements; developed customized workflows for legal holds, data collection, preservation, and production; and supported corporate internal investigations and regulatory matters involving agencies including the SEC and DOJ. Kim has also provided expert reports, declarations, and testimony involving structured data analysis, forensic data collection and preservation, and computer forensics.
