Banuba announced the release of Agent skills for its Video Editor SDK & Photo Editor SDK, introducing a new way to build full-featured creative applications using natural language.

Agent skills let anyone create entire apps (e.g. social media video editors) simply by describing the desired outcome. Instead of manually wiring features, developers can rely on AI to interpret intent, select the necessary tools, and assemble functionality automatically. This dramatically reduces development time and lowers the barrier to entry for building advanced content creation experiences.

With agentic skills, AI acts as an intelligent orchestrator, leveraging Banuba’s SDK capabilities as needed, whether applying filters, enabling real-time effects, editing media, or integrating AR features. The result is faster prototyping, streamlined workflows, and production-ready applications with minimal effort.

The new capability supports leading AI coding environments, including Claude Code, Codex, and Qwen Code, allowing teams to integrate seamlessly into existing development pipelines.

Banuba’s SDKs with Agent skills are available across major platforms: Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native.

“Agent skills represent a shift from building features to describing outcomes,” said Anton Liskevich, a CPO/Co-founder at Banuba. “Developers can now go from idea to application faster than ever, without deep technical overhead.”

By combining powerful media processing technology with AI-driven orchestration, Banuba continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in mobile and cross-platform content creation.
