FourLeaf branches across Long Island and Queens will “Go Pink” on October 16 in support of breast cancer awareness and education

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union (FourLeaf) is teaming up with Northwell Health’s Katz Institute for Women’s Health this October to support its annual Go Pink campaign, helping raise awareness about breast health, early detection and the importance of taking an active role in one’s health.

Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, FourLeaf will help extend the reach of Go Pink by connecting employees, members and the broader community with educational resources and free virtual programs led by Katz Institute for Women’s Health experts.

“Breast cancer has touched the lives of so many of our employees, members and families across the communities we serve,” said Linda Armyn, President and CEO of FourLeaf Federal Credit Union. “Collaborating with the Katz Institute for Women’s Health gives us an opportunity to use our reach to encourage more people to learn about their breast health, understand their risks and make their health a priority. Sometimes awareness can be the first step toward taking action.”

The collaboration also reflects FourLeaf’s broader commitment to supporting women through its Money Like A Woman movement, which celebrates the strengths women bring to their finances, families and communities while providing tools and resources to help them navigate life’s big moments and everything in between. The movement is rooted in the belief that helping women build stronger futures goes beyond financial well-being and includes supporting the health and wellness that allow women to pursue their goals, care for the people they love, and thrive at every stage of life.

That connection is especially meaningful when it comes to breast cancer. A diagnosis can affect far more than physical health, touching emotional well-being, careers, finances and entire families. Through its support of Go Pink, FourLeaf is helping bring education and resources directly to women and the people who support them.

On Friday, October 16, FourLeaf employees will “Go Pink” alongside Northwell Health staff members in wearing co-branded Go Pink shirts. Katz Institute ambassadors will also be on-site at the following FourLeaf branches to share information and help bring the breast health conversation directly into local communities:

  • Bethpage
  • West Babylon
  • Commack
  • Forest Hills
  • and Jackson Heights

"We are grateful to FourLeaf Federal Credit Union’s generous support of Go Pink, a vital annual education campaign that brings breast cancer awareness and prevention programs directly into the communities where women live and work,” said Stacey E. Rosen, MD, Executive Director of the Katz Institute for Women's Health and Senior Vice President of Women's Health at Northwell Health. “Working together with FourLeaf, we are able to move beyond the clinical walls bringing lifesaving breast cancer information to women, and connecting them to Northwell’s world-class cancer specialists and imaging experts when they need them most.”

FourLeaf is also sponsoring two free virtual programs presented by Katz Institute for Women’s Health during October and encouraging the public to participate:

Go Pink 2026: Breast Cancer & Your Whole Health
Friday, October 16 | 12:00–1:00 p.m.

FourLeaf President and CEO Linda Armyn will open the webinar with a special recorded introduction, sharing how FourLeaf’s commitment to empowering women through Money Like A Woman extends beyond financial well-being to supporting women’s overall health and wellness. Katz experts will then discuss breast health, overall wellness and steps women can take to support their health.

Maintaining Balance for Breast Wellness
Tuesday, October 27 | 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Go Pink is the Katz Institute for Women’s Health’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign, bringing together Northwell employees, patients and community partners each October to promote breast health education, early detection and access to care. The initiative encourages women to understand their individual risk, stay up to date with recommended screenings and have informed conversations with their healthcare providers.

“Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools we have when it comes to our health,” Armyn added. “If this collaboration encourages someone to attend a webinar, schedule a screening or simply start a conversation with their doctor that they may have been putting off, then we’ve made a meaningful difference.”
