University of Phoenix Hosts Webinar on Advancing to Leadership Roles in Healthcare

April 28 event features professional insights and practical strategies for healthcare professionals aiming to transition into management positions

University of Phoenix is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar, “From Nursing to Leadership: Strategies for Transitioning into Management Roles,” scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST. This event is organized by the University’s Workforce Solutions team and is free and open to the public.

The webinar will feature a panel discussion with healthcare and education leaders who will share strategies for those seeking to transition from hands-on care to leadership positions in the healthcare industry. Attendees will gain insights into the skills that support transitioning to a leadership role as well as practical advice on handling day-to-day challenges in the healthcare profession.

“Leading in healthcare has many different challenges and opportunities. It is crucial for healthcare professionals to leverage their skills, knowledge, and experience as they assume leadership roles,” stated University of Phoenix Associate Dean for the College of Nursing Dr. Patrick LaRose. “This webinar aims to empower healthcare workers with the tools they need to lead effectively and make a positive impact in their organizations.”

According to the 2025 University of Phoenix Career Institute® Fifth-Annual Career Optimism Index, 1:4 American workers feel their professional future is out of their hands and workers are 52% more likely to experience burnout when they feel they are not progressing in their careers at the right pace.
