Former MongoDB and Retool Executives Join Firm to Deepen Operating Support for Founders Across Ansa Portfolio

Ansa Capital (“Ansa”), a venture capital firm based in New York City, today announced that Meghan Gill, former Senior Vice President of Operations at MongoDB, and Ghazi Masood, former Chief Revenue Officer at Retool, have joined the firm as Venture Partners.

The appointments reflect Ansa’s continued investment in its operating platform and its focus on bringing experienced, founder-centric operators into the firm’s sourcing and portfolio support model.

Meghan Gill was among MongoDB’s earliest employees and helped scale the company from an open-source project to multibillion-dollar public enterprise. Over her fifteen-year tenure, she led global teams across sales, marketing, customer experience, and operations—building the foundation for MongoDB’s sustained growth and category leadership.

Ghazi Masood most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Retool, where he scaled its enterprise sales motion and global go-to-market organization. Prior to that, he spent more than two decades in various sales leadership roles across Microsoft, Oracle, Auth0, amongst others.

At Ansa, both will be responsible for identifying new founder relationships that align with Ansa’s stage focus, and working directly with portfolio founders to accelerate early commercial traction and refine customer engagement strategies.
