Pennsylvania CPA-PAC Unveils New Identity, Modernizing Brand as Advocacy for Pennsylvania’s CPAs Continues

The Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) is proud to announce the rebrand of the CPA-PAC, the PICPA’s political action committee dedicated to advocating for CPAs and fostering meaningful relationships with Pennsylvania’s lawmakers. This modernization reflects the CPA-PAC’s ongoing commitment to supporting CPAs in traversing and advocating for the profession in the modern political and economic landscape.

“For decades, the CPA-PAC has been a trusted voice in Harrisburg, working to educate and support lawmakers while giving CPAs in Pennsylvania a voice at the public policy level,” said R. Charles Waring, CPA, CITP, CISA Chair, CPA-PAC Board of Trustees. “Our new look symbolizes the PAC’s forward-thinking approach to advocacy, while we continue our mission of supporting policies that align with the interests of Pennsylvania’s broader business community.”

The CPA-PAC works to improve government by promoting the involvement of CPAs and relevant business community members in the political process. It provides financial support to candidates for statewide office, including the State House, State Senate, and other key positions such as Governor, Auditor General, and Treasurer. By advocating for initiatives that align with the PAC’s mission, it helps shape a more effective and responsive government for all Pennsylvanians.

“We continue to be grateful for the support our members provide through their donations and thoughtful insights that guide our influential presence in Harrisburg. None of this would be possible without member support,” says Jennifer Cryder, CPA, MBA, CEO of PICPA. “2025 is shaping up to be a critical year for the future of our profession and we intend to be front and center when it comes to advocating in the best interests of our profession and the broader PA business community.”

The CPA-PAC rebrand comes as the organization sets out to achieve its short- and long-term goals statewide by expanding its outreach with lawmakers, attracting new contributors, and advancing informative efforts. By strengthening engagement with legislators, the PAC ensures policymakers understand how legislative decisions impact Pennsylvania’s economy, as well as underscore the importance of CPAs and the accounting profession for inspiring trust and confidence in capital markets, tax and supporting both small and large businesses.
