Made with real whole cashews, Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamers are naturally smooth and velvety, with a perfectly rich consistency that performs beautifully in hot or iced coffee or tea. Each variety contains as few as five simple ingredients, no more than 1g of sugar and 15 calories per serving, and is free from any artificial sweeteners, unnecessary additives or whitening agents. Elmhurst created these Cashew Creamers with a blend of buttery cashews, gluten-free oats, and pectin-- a natural dietary fiber found in fruits and vegetables which helps prevent separation in coffee by protecting the proteins found in their wholefood ingredients. This innovative recipe is a testament to Elmhurst’s unwavering commitment to providing consumers with the simplest, most nutritious, and delicious dairy-free beverages around.

“So many creamers contain unnecessary, gums, oils, fillers and high sugar. We wanted to provide consumers with the cleanest, creamiest, and most nutritious plant-based creamers for coffee,” said Sr. Director of Brand Innovation at Elmhurst, Heba Mahmoud. “Consumers have long enjoyed using our buttery cashewmilk in their coffee, so expanding on our existing Oat Creamer collection with this new Cashew Creamer line was a natural fit. We’re extremely proud to produce clean and delicious products that stand the test of time, and we have no doubt these amazing Cashew Creamers will become a fast fan favorite, thanks to their rich and creamy texture and unique flavor varieties. We’ve always worked to craft the finest plant milks and creamers for coffee, and are very pleased to give people yet another wholesome everyday creamer option they can feel good about enjoying.”

Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamers are some of the lowest sugar and lowest calories options available on store shelves and come in 4 tasty flavors:

  • Sweet Cream: With notes of vanilla sweet cream, this variety is the simplest way to enjoy a sweet cream cold brew at home – it even froths up beautifully into a velvety cold foam! Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
  • Cinnamon Churro: Notes of warm cinnamon sugar and buttery baked churro make this the perfection option for those who take their coffee with a splash of cozy flavor. Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
  • Caramel Brulée: Notes of toasted caramel and crème brûlée complement any roast or blend, hot or iced. Only 1g sugar and 15 calories per serving.
  • Unsweetened: Beyond coffee, this staple is the plant-based creamer to have on hand for any pasta, casserole, or cream-based recipe. Its nutrition content far exceeds any other creamer on the market, containing zero sugar, 10 calories and made from only five simple ingredients.

All of Elmhurst’s Cashew Creamer varieties are packaged in 750ml shelf-stable cartons, offering consumers a larger alternative to the brand’s existing Oat Creamer line.

Like all Elmhurst products, the Cashew Creamers are Non-GMO Product Verified, gluten-free, dairy-free, OU Kosher, vegan, and crafted through the company’s unique HydroRelease™ method. Using just water, this process separates the nutritional components of a nut, grain or seed before reassembling them as a creamy plant milk, maintaining the full nutrition of the source ingredient without added gums or emulsifiers. HydroRelease™ upcycles any waste into energy and is powered by 100% renewable Hydroelectric Power to drive sustainability every step of the way.

As a part of Elmhurst’s ongoing recycling program, currently saving approximately 10,000 mature trees annually, all cartons are 100% recyclable and made from FSC-certified paperboard. The brand transitioned from plastic to paper-based shipping materials for direct-to-consumer orders and uses primarily PCR materials for molded fiberboard trays and scrap corrugate as protective filler.

About Elmhurst 1925

Elmhurst 1925 makes simple, nutritious, and incredibly delicious plant-based dairy products. Elmhurst was founded in 2017, but the company’s roots date back to 1925. Originally Elmhurst Dairy, the multigenerational, family-run organization operated for almost a century under Max Schwartz and son Henry. After a meeting with plant nutrition pioneer, Dr. Cheryl Mitchell, Henry made a progressive pivot and decided to close his famous dairy plant and found Elmhurst Milked. All Elmhurst plant milks are created through a unique HydroRelease™ method, which uses water to harness the full nutritional content of raw nuts, grains, and seeds. Nutrients are separated and recombined naturally to form a smooth, creamy beverage without the use of added gums or stabilizers. All Elmhurst varieties have six ingredients or less, no added gums or emulsifiers, and up to four times as many nuts as other leading brands.
