Grove Collaborative Appoints Scott Giesler as General Counsel

World’s first plastic-neutral retailer hires experienced eCommerce and technology attorney to oversee company’s legal function

Grove Collaborative Holdings, Inc. Before joining Grove in January 2024, Mr. Giesler served as General Counsel of JustAnswer, a direct-to-consumer internet and information company, leading JustAnswer’s legal function. Mr. Giesler also served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of eHealth, Inc., an online health insurance agency, from 2005-2022, managing eHealth's legal and compliance functions.

Mr. Giesler also served as a Corporate/Securities Attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (1999-2005) focused on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate reorganizations, initial public offerings, public and private company financing transactions and public company governance and reporting as well as a litigation attorney with Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton (1996-1999) focused on complex white collar criminal and civil litigation matters. Mr. Giesler served as law clerk to The Honorable Robert J. Kelleher, United States District Court, Central District of California (1995-1996). Mr. Giesler holds a B.A. in environmental science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a J.D. degree from Loyola of Los Angeles Law School.
