Ms. Lizzy Lees has joined the National Conference on Public Employee Retirement Systems (NCPERS) as the Director of Communications, bringing with her nearly ten years of digital marketing and strategic communications experience.
In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing NCPERS’ internal and external communications strategies, including managing the organization’s marketing efforts, media relations, and digital content.
Commenting on the new hire, Executive Director and Counsel Hank Kim said, “We are thrilled to have Lizzy on board. NCPERS created this position to allow for in-house oversight of our overall communications strategy. With this more holistic perspective, we’ll be able to strengthen our internal and external communications as we continue to work to improve retirement security for the public workforce. Most recently, Lees served as the Senior Director of Digital Media and Marketing at Nareit. In her six-year tenure at the trade association, she worked extensively on Nareit’s websites and digital assets; oversaw the marketing efforts for events, initiatives, and publications; developed strategies for member recruitment and retention efforts; and launched the organization’s webinar program.
