A Start in Corporate America
Before entering the financial sector, Ms. Coble worked her way through corporate America. In 1991, she was appointed to senior manager at MCI. Nine years later, she entered a similar role at Dell Inc. After gaining this experience, Ms. Coble sought greater flexibility by moving to Oklahoma City. There, she connected with Kay Stout, a career coach who guided her to the financial advising field.
In 2006, Ms. Coble followed Kay's advice and joined MassMutual Financial Group as a financial adviser and director of alliances. The next year, she became a financial services representative at MetLife, a role she occupied until 2013. During this time, Ms. Coble decided to further her education.
From Education to Entrepreneurship
Ms. Coble completed a bachelor's degree in administrative leadership and liberal arts and sciences at the University of Oklahoma in 2011. Additionally, she went on to complete several certifications. She is a certified plan fiduciary adviser (CPFA), chartered retirement plan specialist, and an accredited investment fiduciary (AIF).
Equipped with a wealth of foundational experience, Ms. Coble made the decision to found Odyssey Financial Group LLC in 2013. As the group's president, she quickly led her company to success. With a focus on building effective retirement plans, Ms. Coble grew her company to operate independently and she transitioned into an advisory role in 2024.
For her contributions to the financial planning industry and her own expertise, Ms. Coble has been recognized with several awards and accolades. She was named one of the top financial advisers by the Financial Times in 2015 and 2017. Her company was recognized as a Top DC Adviser Team by the National Association of Plan Advisors from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, she was named to Top Women Advisors by the National Association of Plan Advisors in 2018, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Membership Involvement
Outside of her professional career, Ms. Coble is involved as a member of several organizations. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma, and an active board member of the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club. Additionally, she has served as a delegate for the National Association of Plan Advisors for more than a decade in Washington, DC.
