Sherwood Auto Repair is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, marking four decades since Felix LaPlante first opened the shop in Old Town Sherwood in 1986.

Today, Sherwood Auto Repair is owned by Felix's son, Scott LaPlante, who has continued the family business into its second generation. That tradition now extends to a third generation, with Scott's son, Alden LaPlante, working as part of the Sherwood Auto Repair team.
To commemorate the milestone, Sherwood Auto Repair is inviting customers, friends, neighbors and members of the community to a 40th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the shop, located at 9965 SW Tualatin-Sherwood Road in Tualatin.
The celebration will feature catering from Koi Fusion, and a bounce house for the kids, making it an afternoon for the whole family.
