ERLANGER, Ky. - Oct. 22, 2026 - PRLog -- The Devil's Plan for Your Life, the provocative new book by Stephen Anderson and Matthew Kelly, was released October 1 by Wellspring Books. More than 200,000 copies have already been preordered by parishes through Dynamic Catholic's Christmas Book Program.
The book looks at spiritual warfare through ten everyday strategies the authors say can quietly pull people away from their faith, relationships, purpose, and the life God is calling them to live.
One of those strategies is what Anderson and Kelly call the "Delay Tactic." The idea is simple: the devil does not always need someone to reject what is good. Sometimes, he only needs them to keep putting it off.
That idea runs throughout a book focused on the distractions of modern life, including constant notifications, entertainment, comparison, comfort, procrastination, and the pressure of competing demands on our attention.
Rather than treating spiritual warfare as something distant or dramatic, The Devil's Plan for Your Life asks readers to look at the ordinary habits and decisions that shape their days and consider whether those patterns are moving them toward or away from the life they want to live.
Anderson is the content team leader at Dynamic Catholic and collaborated with Kelly on the book after working alongside him for five years. Kelly is the author of more than 50 books and has reached readers around the world through his work on faith, purpose, and personal growth.
With more than 200,000 copies already preordered by parishes for the Christmas Book Program, the book is expected to reach Catholic communities across the country during the coming Christmas season.
The Devil's Plan for Your Life is available now through Dynamic Catholic.
