Felipe's Taqueria Announces Endymion 2026 Watch Party for Mardi Gras Parade

NEW ORLEANS, LA - January 14, 2026 - PRESSADVANTAGE -

Felipe's Taqueria—Mid City New Orleans has announced plans to host its annual Endymion parade watch party on Saturday, February 14, 2026, offering an organized and reserved viewing option for one of Mardi Gras season’s largest and most widely attended parades.

The event will take place at the restaurant’s Mid-City location, where its private patio overlooking Carrollton Avenue will be converted into a designated parade viewing space. The Endymion parade is expected to roll through the area during the afternoon and evening hours, drawing thousands of spectators to the corridor.

The Endymion 2026 Watch Party at Felipe's Taqueria is scheduled to run from noon until 8 p.m. The event is designed to provide attendees with a clear view of the parade route while minimizing the congestion, mobility challenges, and extended wait times commonly associated with street-level parade viewing in Mid-City during peak Carnival season.

Attendance at the watch party will require advance wristband purchases. Wristbands are priced at $100 per person for guests aged six and older. According to the restaurant, capacity is limited, and all wristband sales are final.

Each wristband grants access to the private patio viewing area throughout the event. Wristband holders will also receive access to a complimentary taco bar, scheduled to operate from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as two drink tickets for guests aged 21 and over. Additional amenities include access to private restroom facilities and an outdoor satellite bar located within the patio space.

Wristbands will be distributed beginning at noon on the day of the event at the patio entrance. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for check-in prior to the parade’s arrival along Carrollton Avenue.

"The Endymion parade draws thousands of spectators each year, and finding a comfortable viewing spot can be challenging," said a Felipe's Taqueria spokesperson. "Our private patio location provides guests with an elevated view of the parade route while enjoying authentic Mexican food in Mid-City New Orleans, creating a more relaxed Mardi Gras experience."

The Endymion parade is widely recognized for its large-scale floats, celebrity riders, and extensive krewe membership. The parade traditionally rolls through Mid-City before proceeding toward downtown New Orleans and the Superdome. In recent years, Endymion has featured more than 3,000 riders and has consistently attracted spectators from across Louisiana and neighboring states.

Felipe’s Taqueria’s Mid-City location is situated at 411 North Carrollton Avenue, placing the restaurant directly along the established parade route. The proximity has made the location a recurring destination for parade-day events and viewing opportunities during Carnival season. The restaurant has hosted similar watch parties in previous years, developing a reputation among local residents and visitors seeking an alternative to traditional curbside viewing.

To ensure smooth operations and maintain safety during the event, this Mexican restaurant has outlined specific guidelines for attendees. Outside coolers, chairs, ladders, food, beverages, and animals will not be permitted on the premises during the watch party. These measures are intended to maintain clear access points and accommodate the limited capacity of the private patio area.

The restaurant noted that all event policies will be enforced throughout the duration of the watch party. Guests are encouraged to review the guidelines in advance when purchasing wristbands.

Felipe’s Taqueria operates multiple restaurant locations across Louisiana, Florida, and Massachusetts. In the New Orleans area, the company maintains three locations, including Mid-City, the French Quarter, and Uptown. The restaurant is known for its made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine, prepared in small batches and available through customizable menu options.

The menu includes a range of items such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, specialty bowls, and house-made salsas, alongside a selection of margaritas, sangrias, beers, and wines.

The Mid-City location has received recognition through several local publications, including Best of the Big Easy and Gambit’s Best of New Orleans. The restaurant maintains daily operating hours and offers a regular happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring discounted tacos and select beverages.

Beyond its food and beverage offerings, Felipe’s Taqueria maintains a customer rewards program that allows patrons to earn points with each purchase. These points can be redeemed for future discounts and menu items, reinforcing the brand’s focus on repeat customer engagement.
