(Matthew Du, NewsUSA Reporter) - A man was struck by an off-service MTBA bus at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Traveler Street last Tuesday morning. The Boston Police Department reported that the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to the local hospital for treatment. The bus was seen with a large crack in the front of the windshield after the accident.
This was one of a recent string of similar incidents. In the past two months, an elderly woman and a teenage boy were hit on separate occasions. An investigation has been opened on the recent accident, and the affected areas are seeing disruptions as officials clear the location.
