On February 20th, Huobi announced that its 3rd round of PrimeVote has concluded successfully. Over 21.99 million HT was locked for voting during the event and the winning project, Tomi (TOMI), secured the top spot with a total of 17,963,115 votes. As the winning project, Huobi has announced that the exchange will list the TOMI token on February 22th, 12:00 UTC. Community supporters who had voted for the Tomi will get a share of the winning project's prize pool worth 100,000 USDT.
The third round of PrimeVote began on January 16, 2023 and lasted for three weeks, during which more than 150 projects, including TOMI, JOT, GCAKE, DHX, and LITHO applied for the event. Huobi evaluated the projects based on six criteria, namely project quality and policy risks, business model and market scale, token ecology and distribution, core team and investment institution, community operations, and project progress. Eventually, 25 projects were selected to participate in the voting.
Huobi believes that through successive PrimeVote events, HT will continue to evolve through the involvement of quality projects and community strength. The community and HT holders have also reached a consensus on the value of HT by participating in decision-making and benefiting from various income streams. By empowering HT, an ecosystem that benefits everyone is created, including project teams, the exchange, and HT holders. As a result, the price of HT has risen in secondary markets. On February 20th, the market data from Huobi for HT also showed a surge by 19.20% within 24 hours, reaching a peak price of $6.4084.
