"A floor sees more of your life than almost anything else you own," said Kamal Shokraei, founder of Floors and Beyond. "It watches first steps and marriage proposals. It holds the dancing in the kitchen, the holiday mornings, the dogs running to the door, the parents who slowly become grandparents. We have never thought of ourselves as people who install flooring. We build the stage where a family's life happens."
Floors and Beyond was established in 1987 and remains family-owned and operated. Every project is completed by the company's own in-house crews rather than subcontracted labor, a practice credited for its consistency across nearly four decades. Founder Kamal Shokraei brings approximately 40 years of hands-on field experience to the trade, spanning hardwood installation and refinishing, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile, carpet, stair runners and floor repair.
