Rubrik GSI Summit – October 9, 2026 – Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK), the Security and AI Operations Company, today announced the expansion of Project Hourglass, broadening its partner alliance to deliver Rubrik Code Guardian alongside Rubrik Agent Cloud. Rubrik welcomed additional partners AHEAD, Trace3, and WWT into Project Hourglass, joining Cognizant, Deloitte, LTM, HCLTech, NTT DATA, and Wipro.

According to Rubrik Zero Labs, 86% of cybersecurity and IT leaders anticipate that the proliferation of AI agents will outpace their organization's security guardrails within the next year. Rubrik Code Guardian aims to provide partners the capability to proactively red-team client code within air-gapped environments, prioritize realistic attack chains, and maintain instant codebase recovery.

Rubrik Code Guardian harnesses Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5 through a specialized security harness to evaluate code repositories against sophisticated, multi-step threat scenarios. Rather than operating on live production environments, the system tests a cloned, air-gapped copy of customer repositories.

Key capabilities Rubrik aims to deliver to Project Hourglass partners include:

• Isolated Red-Team Analysis: Claude Mythos 5 operates inside Rubrik's security harness.
• Attack Chain Discovery: The engine will reason across files, services, identity roles, and cloud perimeters to uncover chained vulnerabilities that conventional static tools miss.
• Business Impact Prioritization: To eliminate alert fatigue, findings are verified for actual exploitability and scored by business criticality.

Project Hourglass originally launched to operationalize Rubrik Agent Cloud for Anthropic's Claude Code, introducing runtime behavioral guardrails, prompt context protection, and Agent Rewind to reverse unintended actions.

By adding Rubrik Code Guardian, Project Hourglass offers an end-to-end security architecture. The program provides participating partners with joint go-to-market resources, dedicated technical certification tracks, and direct engineering access to accelerate client deployments.
