On November 2, 2023, Recology Inc. discovered unusual activity on its computer network. Upon identifying the issue, Recology Inc. promptly began an internal review, took steps to secure its systems, notified law enforcement and engaged a forensic security firm to review and confirm the security of its computer systems. The investigation determined that some documents were acquired from its system on or about November 2, 2023.
