The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Golden Corral Corporation (“Golden Corral”) with respect to their recent data breach. On February 16, 2024, Golden Corral notified individuals that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. According to Golden Corral, they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access between August 11, 2023 and August 15, 2023. Golden Corral determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes: name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number, financial information (e.g. account number, credit or debit card number), medical information, and health insurance information.
