Redbox Customer Loyalty Members Name Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny as the Most Anticipated Movie Of 2023

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom are also top titles

These and many other highly anticipated movies will be available in Redbox kiosks and digitally through Redbox’s streaming app in the coming months

Redbox, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq: CSSE) company, today announced its customer loyalty members have named Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny as the most anticipated movie of 2023. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One came in a close second, followed by Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. The results come from a survey of a segment of Redbox’s over 42 million customer loyalty program members.

Redbox kiosks continue to be a destination for millions of consumers seeking the fastest access to the latest entertainment at the most affordable price. The company has seen more consumers renting as new movies have returned to its Transactional Video-on-Demand (TVOD) platform. The Redbox TVOD service recently had its all-time largest revenue weekend for The Super Mario Bros. Movie – which also came to Redbox kiosks this week.

“We continue to see increases in the number of people renting through our Redbox TVOD service due to the number of new release movies,” said William J. Rouhana, Jr., chief executive officer of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment. “Based on the results of the last several weeks, and in particular, the debut of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, we expect positive momentum at the kiosks as more new movies become available.”

The most anticipated movies of 2023 based on a survey of Redbox customer loyalty members are:

  1. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
  2. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One
  3. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
  4. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
  5. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
  6. The Marvels
  7. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes
  8. Dune: Part Two
  9. The Flash
  10. Expend4bles
