The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into HealthPlan Services, Inc. with respect to their recent data breach. On April 28, 2023, HealthPlan Services, Inc. notified patients that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. On March 21, 2023, according to HealthPlan Services, Inc., they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access from June 22, 2022 through June 23, 2022. HealthPlan Services, Inc. determined that the information exposed in the data breach includes: names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information, and health insurance information.
