Dynasty Financial Partners today announced that the firm has begun working with Andrew Marsh, a Canadian entrepreneurial executive, and Founder of Richardson Wealth (formerly Richardson GMP).
With an extensive background in the wealth management industry, Mr. Marsh has a proven track record of creating shareholder value with strategic vision and strong client-focused execution. He is widely regarded as an inspirational values-based leader whose efforts contributed to the growth of Richardson Wealth from start-up to over $30 billion in AUM in 15 years, culminating in a company’s sale in 2020.
Andrew Marsh will be joining Dynasty as the first Executive-in-Residence. This program will feature wealth management executives who have founded successful businesses. Dynasty created the Executive-in-Residence position as a core part of the firm’s “Advisor to CEO” program, which provides content and coaching for CEOs in Dynasty’s Network of independent RIAs and will feature an on-campus summit at MIT’s Sloan Business School every year.

Mr. Marsh is also a former Member of the Board of Governors of the University of Guelph and the Advisory Board for Right to Play Canada. He is also a Member of the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence, a 2018 Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Finance Leaders Fellowship, and a Member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
Mr. Penney is also a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
