Refiners drag down energy stocks

Independent refiners among the sector’s hardest hit stocks after Macquarie downgraded HollyFrontier Corp., CVR Energy Inc., and Valero Energy Corp. on worries they will have a hard time meeting a renewable fuels requirement.
