From June 17 to 18, the 2026 Southwestern Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area Development Forum was held in Lishui, Zhejiang Province. Focusing on topics such as fostering new quality productive forces and advancing common prosperity in revolutionary base areas, the forum served as a high-level platform for policy coordination, industrial cooperation, and talent aggregation, bringing together collective efforts to explore new pathways toward shared prosperity in former revolutionary regions.

In 2021, China’s State Council issued and implemented the Opinions on Supporting the Revitalization and Development of Revolutionary Base Areas in the New Era. Over the past five years, Lishui has continuously hosted the Southwestern Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area Development Forum, providing sustained momentum for regional revitalization.

During this year’s forum, the Casebook on the Revitalization and Development of the Southwestern Zhejiang Revolutionary Base Area (2021–2025) was officially released. The publication systematically analyzes Lishui’s landmark achievements over the past five years in areas including the preservation and promotion of revolutionary heritage, the transformation of ecological resources into development advantages, and industrial innovation.
