Lōkahi Therapeutics™, a subsidiary of Glucotrack, Inc. (Nasdaq: GCTK), today announced that it will partner with Pepperdine E2B™ (Education to Business) to engage students in its ai2 Pipeline™ initiative during the upcoming academic year. The collaboration is intended to provide students with hands-on experience evaluating real-world biopharmaceutical opportunities while supporting Lōkahi's ongoing efforts to identify and assess therapeutic assets through its ai2 platform.
The Pepperdine collaboration will begin with a project involving full-time MBA students in a marketing course taught by Professor Kimber Maderazzo at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Through the ai2 Pipeline™ program, participating students will work alongside Lōkahi professionals to identify, evaluate, and prioritize therapeutic opportunities. Project teams will assess scientific, regulatory, intellectual property, commercial, and strategic considerations that influence decisions across the biopharmaceutical asset lifecycle. Students will develop recommendations based on structured analysis of actual therapeutic opportunities rather than hypothetical case studies.
During its first year, the ai2 Futures Lab™ engaged 64 students and identified more than 45 potential assets, several of which have advanced into active pipeline discussions. The program is designed to expand Lōkahi’s sourcing reach and analytical capacity while supporting a disciplined, capital-efficient approach to pipeline development.
The collaboration reflects Lōkahi's belief that important therapeutic opportunities are frequently overlooked due to changes in strategic priorities, capital availability, or organizational focus rather than scientific merit alone. By combining disciplined human judgment with data, analytics, and technology, the ai2 platform seeks to identify and evaluate opportunities that may warrant further consideration.
“Pepperdine students bring intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset that aligns well with our ai2 approach,” said Brian Peters, SVP, ai2 Division, Lōkahi Therapeutics™. “Through ai2 Pipeline™, students will gain exposure to the complex scientific, commercial, regulatory, and strategic considerations that shape decisions in biotechnology while contributing to the evaluation of real therapeutic opportunities. We are excited to welcome Pepperdine to our growing network of university collaborators.”
Lynda Palmer, Program Director of Pepperdine E2B™ (Education to Business), added, “We are excited to provide our full-time MBA students with an opportunity to apply classroom learning to meaningful, real-world business challenges. Collaborating with Lōkahi gives participants exposure to the interdisciplinary decision-making that drives innovation in the life sciences sector while developing critical analytical and leadership skills. This partnership reflects the E2B mission of connecting education with business experience in ways that prepare students for future professional success.”
